Derek Sands

Director of Technology Design

Derek studied Mechanical Engineering and Music at Old Dominion University, as well as Information Technology at Belmont University. He carries a CTS-D certification through AVIXA. Derek began his career with design/build firms in audiovisual systems and joined Enfinity in February of 2023.

Derek has more than 20 years of experience in the audiovisual field and over 12 years in the technology systems field as a consultant, project manager, designer, and installer. 

Derek and his wife live in Cane Ridge, TN. When he is not on the local trails around Nashville, he is either painting, playing his trumpet, or enjoying time with his four children and five grandchildren.
