Tyler Elder

Managing Principal, Electrical Engineer

Tyler graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1999 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and is currently licensed as a professional engineer in 24 states and Puerto Rico. Tyler started his career as an electrical engineer for a consulting engineering firm in Florida and joined Enfinity in 2009, becoming a Principal in 2013.

Tyler is responsible for the overall operation of the company as Managing Principal. He has 25 years of experience in the design and construction fields. Tyler has been a project manager and lead engineer responsible for the design of electrical distribution, emergency power services, parallel generation, lighting and protective systems for healthcare, laboratory, gaming and commercial projects.  These projects include several hospital replacement facilities, bio-safety level III laboratories and hotel casino and convention centers.

Tyler and his wife live in Brentwood, TN with their son and two daughters. When he’s not at the lake with his family or taking his son to baseball games, you might catch him flying back from Chicago with a duffel bag full of frozen Lou Malnati’s deep dish Chicago style pizzas.
